Rosie X Mo
Puppies born October 4, 2018
Rosie has all the flash, dash, and speed one could ever hope for in a fine upland dog. She has an excellent full choke nose as is common in the descendents of Bullett and seems to never miss a bird. She’s also a fine natural retriever and is a dog you can count on to make the hard finds when looking for dead birds that just “disappear” when you aren’t looking.
In the house, she’s a doll who if anything wants more than her share of attention. Just like her mom, given half a chance you’ll find her sleeping under the covers down by your feet when you try to crawl in bed on a cold night.
Mo is in many ways a throwback to our shorthairs of old. His mother Heidi is a dream dog. From water work to field trials to grinding it out day after day guiding she’s unstoppable. Ruger his father is flat one of the toughest dogs we’ve owned since our first in 1969. Whether guiding days, weeks, or months on end it was never too cold, hot, wet or dry for Ruger. Both he and Heidi were dogs that have made an impression everywhere they have hunted or trialed and Heidi of course has been my front seat buddy in the truck and sleeping partner since she was a baby.
We decided that breeding them would take us back to the very best of our old lines and it has proven to be one of the best decisions we ever made.
Mo will continue that tradition of stud dogs we can count on for another decade or more to produce pups that can hunt anytime, anything, and anywhere, just show them what is “game” and let their natural ability and your training take over and you will have the hunting companion of a lifetime.
Little Bullett X Crystal
Puppies born September 28, 2018 (all sold)
Crystal and Little Bullett both are outstanding bird finders, great dead bird finders, soft mouthed natural retrievers and are a true pleasure to hunt behind for all of the species we pursue. If you want to see what the future is at WildRose German Shorthairs, this is it!
This mating is also one of our carefully selected and planned line breedings on our foundation sire Bullett (FC Rincon Slick Runner) from which I plan to produce my next great stud dog of the future.
Both parents are lovable pets, polite house dogs and are great with kids, horses, strangers, strange dogs, and new adventures and they represent the epitome of everything we have hoped for in our current generation of rising stars
